Our Story

Ten years in the making — the moments that brought us here, with a few snapshots from our adventures along the way.

  1. 2008

    Matt first laid eyes on Jacqueline in Princes Risborough Costa. Sadly, she was seeing a certain Jack Dobson at the time — better known to us all as the Best Man.

  2. 2014

    Jacqueline saw Matt stacking shelves in M&S and immediately knew he was the one.

  3. 2017

    We properly met at a friend's house party and started dating on the 6th May.

    We flew the nest and moved into our first flat together.

    We finally got engaged at Boringdon Hall on 15th September.

    We bought our first home together on 1st August.

    Our greatest adventure yet began on 14th October, when little Hugo joined the team.

    We officially tie the knot on 6th May — our 10-year anniversary. Then on the 19th May we will welcome you to Hadsham Farm, sharing our vows and celebrating the start of our next chapter, surrounded by our favourite people.

By train: the venue is about 15 minutes from Banbury Station, on the London Marylebone line.
By taxi: Carriage Cars — 01295 252525 (there are plenty more taxi companies in Banbury too). Please pre-book, especially for the journey home.

Accommodation

Anyone is welcome to camp on site (camper or tent). There's a shower block, and we'll serve breakfast in the morning!

Dress Code

We'd love to see lots of colour! Bright colours, fun prints and florals — we want the tipi to feel as colourful and full of life as possible.

Our only request is to leave the white and ivory to the bride!

We'll be celebrating outdoors in a tipi in the countryside, so bear that in mind when choosing your shoes — flats or block heels will be much easier on the grass than stilettos. It can also get a little chilly once the sun goes down, so bringing a jacket or something warm for the evening is a good idea.

Most importantly, wear something you feel comfortable in and come ready to celebrate with us!
